Great sigs into VK on 20 and 40m.
Your operating conditions looked a lot less comfortable than we had on Lord Howe Island recently as VK9LA!
Congratulations on your activation. The great efforts of groups like yours makes our hobby endlessly interesting!
I love DX-ing, as it is a wonderful continuing lesson in Geography.

Благодарю вас за два новых IOTA острова. Ваш сигнал был очень громко в Токио, особенно из NA-233. Я сожалею, что не было никакое NA-070, но может быть следующий раз.

On your last day on NA233 you had an outstanding signal into Europe on 20m for many hours, Yuri !
Because you did stay on air until the vessel arrived, you gave a chance to many Europeans to work the new IOTA.
Good luck on your trip and see you from NA070

biggrin Dear KL7RRC/P,

Today, 16-June-2009, at 1340 Z on 40m CW I had a QSO with you. Your operator was EXCELLENT.
He worked very very hard to get my callsign.
In all of my QSOs over 40 years I have not heard an op work so hard to get my call. I thank you very very much. You are a GREAT example of a great op. Here pwr output is 1 KW to a Yagi up 22 meters high. 73, GL, many many many thanks for your efforts on this FB DX-pedition! Congratulations! de W7SW Scotty.

KL7RRC/p is active from NA-233 last day (there is still 15th June on NA-233), the weather became worse... strong wind and low temperature +6...+7C daytime (0...+2C during the nights). The ocean condition is not calm. If the ship manage to pick them up quickly from the NA-233 (in takes 12 hours the way from NA-039 to NA-070), and the weather permits, the team will travel to NA-070 (24 hours the way there), otherwise, the team come back to NA-039 to be active some days from there as KL7RRC.
If the team manage to visit NA-070 the activity will be limited 24 (48 hours maximum!) under KL7RRC/a call.
Up to now there are more than 4000 QSOs in the log. The team is ready for new adventures!

(tnx to Alex RU3EJ for information support)
